Edgefield Out of School Club in Dorchester offers parents a place for their children outside the normal school times both during term and holiday periods.

We offer a range of activities for children between the ages of 4 and 12 to compliment their normal school day. After a day at school and for the relatively short period the children are with us, our emphasis is not on further structured learning. The children are given a free choice of the activities available with direction and encouragement given as needed. We do encourage the tackling of any homework that may have been set in accordance with parents wishes.

Edgefield provides facilities for children to play outside safely, in a securely fenced area either on grass or in our playground.

The rooms allocated to the Clubs are brightly decorated and are equipped with a range of toys, activities, large play equipment, games and puzzles. We also have a range of books, computers and a television for the more relaxing part of the day.
